How do the mentors fit in?
Mentors are critical to the programs success.
We have found over the years that many industry experts would love to help "give back" in some way shape or form but simply do not have the time required to set up interns, select the work, define the scope and then guide the interns through the process.
P/21 has been set up to gratefully and with as little effort on the mentors part as possible, turn their offer of help into a purpose project for one of our beneficiary partners.
Mentors get to impart their experience and guidance (in their chosen skill set) to willing and able interns while doing something that will have a meaningful impact in the world.
We have multiple engagement scenarios according to how much time you have to volunteer so why not give it a try?
